About The Actuarial Foundation
The Actuarial Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 1994 to help facilitate and broaden the profession’s contribution to society. The Foundation explores innovative ways to apply actuarial skills in the public interest.
The actuarial profession has improved the quality of people's lives by making possible the prudent management of personal and corporate risk. As social and business circumstances change, actuaries must adapt and expand their ability to contribute to the community.
To achieve these goals, the Foundation seeks philanthropic support from those who believe in the profession's potential to help address many of today's greatest challenges. More >
