Robertson Memorial Scholarship recognizes and encourages the academic achievements of undergraduate students pursuing a career in actuarial science. The 2013-2014 application is now availableThe Actuarial Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2013-2014 school year. The guidelines and application are available at the links below. Applicants must be full-time students entering as a sophomore, junior or senior, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on 4.0 scale) and must have successfully completed two actuarial exams. The Actuarial Foundation will award the selected candidate/s $7,500 for education expenses at any accredited U.S. educational institution. About Stuart A. RobertsonStuart A. Robertson, FSA, MAAA (1918-2005) was a distinguished actuary who, along with Wendell Milliman, co-founded the actuarial and consulting firm Milliman & Robertson (now Milliman, Inc.). Robertson served as CEO and Chairman of the firm for many years and was active in the actuarial profession, serving on the Society of Actuaries Board of Governors and in other capacities. The Actuary of Tomorrow – Stuart A. Robertson Memorial Scholarship was established to honor his dedication to excellence and recognize his tremendously positive influence on the professional lives of many colleagues.
