Actuary Mentors Needed


Actuary Mentors Make a DifferenceAs an actuary, you may have been approached to volunteer for professional activities. Through The Actuarial Foundation—your profession's foundation—you have the unique opportunity to volunteer as a mentor working with students of all ages.

This could be the most rewarding volunteer opportunity of your career.

The Foundation has two specific areas of mentoring opportunities.

Grades 4-12

 

The communities listed below are in need of actuary mentors through the Advancing Student Achievement (ASA) school program.

 

If a town in your area is not listed, please visit this page again in the near future. The ASA grant program is being updated and improved to benefit the math classrooms of today and tomorrow.

Actuarial Diversity Scholarship Students

Actuary Mentors Make a DifferenceThe Actuarial Diversity Scholarship is designed to recognize a student's academic achievements and to encourage interest in the actuarial profession. A unique component of this scholarship program is connecting scholarship applicants and recipients with a actuary mentors.
