Actuary Mentors Needed


A mentor is a trusted personal resource committed to guiding and inspiring others. Through The Actuarial Foundation, you have the unique opportunity to volunteer as an actuary mentor working with students and career changers interested in the actuarial profession. Your willingness to share your time and expertise make the work of the Foundation possible. Thank you!

The Foundation has following mentoring opportunities available:

  1. Actuarial Diversity Scholarship Mentor - College Students: The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship is designed to recognize a student's academic achievements and to encourage interest in the actuarial profession. A unique component of this scholarship program is the opportunity for each applicant to request an actuarial mentor. To become an Actuarial Diversity Scholarship Mentor, please fill out this form.
  2. Mauro Reimbursement Program Mentor - Adult Career Changers:  The Actuary - A Career Change: Elizabeth M. Mauro Reimbursement Program recognizes the limited resources available to career changers aspiring to transition to the actuarial profession.
