As marketing manager, I have the pleasure of collaborating with our staff, vendors, actuaries, supporting organizations, corporations, community partners, volunteers, teachers and students to create compelling content that communicates the life-changing impacts of the Foundation’s programs. This content is then repurposed into multichannel marketing and communication campaigns including digital, print, social media, corporate presentations, advertising and video. I especially enjoy the connections I’ve made with teachers and students, many of whom I’ve stayed in contact with over the years. Prior to joining the Foundation, I spent two decades as a marcom maven in a variety of industries including educational publishing and professional services firms where I thoroughly enjoyed promoting everything from religious textbooks to diversity training. I also spent two years as an elementary teacher and managed a Title 1 Tutoring program for the Franklin Park School District. When I’m not working, you can find me having a dance party in the kitchen with my family, laughing with my friends, reading the latest historical fiction, watching PBS Mystery, meditating, perfecting my shot at the archery range or traveling the world (just Iowa post-Covid). I earned my B.A. in Communications from John Carroll University and my MEd from DePaul University.
