Karen Lindebrekke

I am the Program Manager of Math Motivators and Money Mentors who manages and directs these programs nationwide. Before joining The Actuarial Foundation, I was in ecological research, environmental education, a professional writer and editor for math and science curricula and assessments, a Professional Development Specialist in Problem-Based Learning for the Illinois Math and Science Academy; Director of the Science and Technology Enrichment Program at Robert Morris University, Chicago; Program Director of STEM Education for the iBIO Institute; and I taught high school and college math and science for 15 years. My favorite activities are hiking, camping, dancing, attending music concerts, doing puzzles, and playing cards and board games. I attended San Diego State University and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with my Bachelor of Science in Zoology, and a Mathematics minor. I also earned my Master of Science in Education in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Tennessee.
