Denise Olson, CPCU, FCAS, PBP

Denise Olson is the Chief Underwriting Officer at K2 Insurance Services, bringing over 30 years of seasoned experience in the insurance industry. Recognized for her strategic leadership and innovative solutions in actuarial pricing, underwriting, and product development, Denise has held various leadership roles throughout her career, including a significant tenure at Zurich North America after beginning her career at CNA.

Denise has a deep commitment to math education and literacy, giving back to the field that has been so impactful in her life. She is a long-standing member of the Actuarial Science Advisory Board at the University of Nebraska, where she actively contributes to shaping curriculum and mentoring students. Denise holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and actuarial science from the University of Nebraska, is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.
