Daisy Hernandez

As a Program Specialist, I have the pleasure of supporting all of the Foundation’s scholarship programs. I verify all scholarship applications for completion and coordinate reviews with all of the Foundation’s reviewing committees. I also provide support to the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and support the Programs team on the development and promotion of the Foundation’s  youth education programs.

I have spent my entire career working in the non-profit industry. I previously worked for a college access and readiness non-profit where I provided academic advising to first-generation high school students to help them stay on track to enroll in college.

Outside of work, I compete in a local trivia league, and I am still trying to master the art of cooking. I am much better at baking!

I graduated from Lake Forest College in 2017 with a BA in Communication.
