What impact did TAF have on you?
TAF inspired me to help and give back to the community. I hope one day that I will be able to help students achieve their goals, just as TAF has helped me.
What program did you participate in and why?
I am the recipient of the 2021-2022 Actuarial Diversity Scholarship. TAF’s curriculum and competitions give a glimpse into the world of an actuary and have encouraged me to enter the actuarial profession.
What are your goals/dreams/aspirations?
My goals, dreams, and aspirations are to become an Actuarial Analyst and gain my FCAS designation. I want to help students achieve their goals just as TAF has helped me!
What’s your best experience/memory from being a part of a TAF program?
The best experience of being a part of the TAF Actuarial Diversity Scholarship is the amount of support and generosity I have received from the organization. This generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the community. TAF has inspired me to give back to others, both as a leader and possibly a scholarship to future students like myself.
