Michael Smith

Michael served as chief executive officer of Insurance Solutions at Voya Financial. In addition, he provided management oversight for the Closed-Block Variable Annuity segment. Prior to assuming this role, he served as chief risk officer at the company.  Smith holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and Russian studies from the University of Michigan. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and attained his Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
