4 New Trustees Elected to the Foundation’s Board

The Actuarial Foundation is proud to announce the election of a distinguished group of new Board of Trustee volunteers — Ted A. Lyle, FSA; Roosevelt C. Mosley Jr., FCAS, MAAA, CSPA; Eric Sherman, FSA, MAAA, CFA; and Chad C. Wischmeyer, FCAS, MAAA, CFA — who will begin their service in June 2020.
Ted, now retired, most recently served as chief actuary of UnitedHealth Group’s Optum Health division from 2001–2015. Throughout his actuarial career, he was involved in various committees of the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries.
Roosevelt is a principal and consulting actuary with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. He is an active participant in committees and task forces of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the American Academy of Actuaries.
Eric is vice president and actuary at New York Life Insurance Company. He has held numerous roles throughout his career and is currently the head of Retail and Institutional Life Valuation and ALM.
Chad is the president and managing partner of Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting, Inc. He has spoken at various seminars and has also been involved with various committees and task forces of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the American Academy of Actuaries.
Each of these accomplished business leaders will elevate the efforts of the Foundation as we expand our outreach. We are excited to work with each of them as we create a brighter future for students with our free math education and financial literacy resources.
