The Actuarial Foundation’s Marketing Team Wins Three Industry Awards for 2019 Math Motivators Campaign

2020 has been an exciting year for The Actuarial Foundation’s Marketing team in the realm of recognition. One campaign alone, Math Motivators, resulted in three unique industry awards commemorating the marketing team for their outstanding work in 2019. The Actuarial Foundation and the Marketing team were recognized with the 2020 APEX Award, 2020 EXCEL Award, and the 2020 Hermes Creative Award.
EXCEL Award – Bronze – Integrated Mixed Media (Other): The Math Motivators campaign won an award for best campaign launched in 2019 consisting of at least three different communication vehicles (e.g., print publication, social media, website, video or podcast) with a common message, mission or theme. The Association of Media & Publishing EXCEL Awards recognize excellence and leadership in association media, publishing, marketing and communications. The competition is open to nonprofit and for-profit associations, as well as industry service partners submitting on behalf of association clients, regardless of whether they are members of AM&P.
APEX Award – The Math Motivators fundraising campaign earned an Award of Excellence in the “Campaigns, Programs and Plans – Public Service” category. The APEX Awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. APEX Grand Awards honor the outstanding works in each main category, while APEX Awards of Excellence recognize exceptional entries in each of the individual categories. With nearly 1,200 entries, competition was exceptionally intense. 100 Grand Awards were presented to honor outstanding work in 12 major categories, with 476 Awards of Excellence recognizing exceptional entries in 100 subcategories.
Hermes Creative Award – The Math Motivators fundraising campaign earned an Honorable Mention in the category “Electronic Media / Social Media / Interactive Media | Video | Fund Raiser.” Hermes Creative Awards recognize outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals. Hermes Creative Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, and freelance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession. AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. Winners were selected from over 200 categories grouped under advertising, publications, marketing, branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media, and pro bono.
